I hope this information helps others running into this. Loading AT in a chainer like Blue Cat seemed to fix it too, but I haven't tested this extensively yet. Of course, I want to be able to use ARA, so this isn't really a solution. AT seems to think it's in ARA mode when it's not. I determined that disabling ARA system-wide in REAPER fixed the problem of Auto-Tune defaulting to graph mode, which makes me think that there's an ARA bug on the Antares side. I'm using the latest version of REAPER on MacOS Monterey (Intel iMac). We provide customized car care, repairs, maintenance. Antares support wasn't able to resolve the issue, and just told me to use the previous version of Auto-Tune.
